My Beginners ‘Starter kits’ are suitable for small/medium-sized insects (mantids, stick insects etc…). Also suitable for arachnids such as spiders and scorpions.

Choose between a basic starter kit or one with a small (100ml) culture of fruit flies (Drosophila hydei).

You can always order flies at any time.

The Beginners starter kits for sale is a basic plastic enclosure for your mantis, stick insect, spider, scorpion, and any other invertebrate of small-medium size.

They come with everything you will need to make it a friendly, and functional enclosure for your beloved pets.

Contents include: Substrate (a mixture of peat soil, coco fibre, and vermiculite) to provide good humidity when moist, a fake green moss vine, and a fake lavender flower.

The lid is a mesh/fabric material that is specifically designed to enable your mantis to hang and moult safely. It also has holes cut in the lid to enable ventilation.

All you need to do is to add the substrate and arrange the rest of the items as you prefer.
Keep the substrate a little moist by spraying the sides of the enclosure every 1-2 days.

As with the Beginners Starter Kit the contents include: Substrate (a mixture of peat soil, coco fibre, and vermiculite). To provide good humidity when moist there is a lovely green moss patch to place on top of the substrate.
This will make the enclosure look even more realistic, whilst providing further humidity.
Also small piece of cork bark and small fake leaves to provide plenty of hides for your little loved one.
There are holes in the lid provide ventilation for the enclosure.
