Brancsikia areoplana is a species of praying mantis from Madagascar, in the family Majangidae.
This species is in the genus of praying mantises in the new family Majangidae and the monotypic subfamily Brancsikiinae; it was previously placed in the Deroplatyinae. There are now two species in the genus Brancsikia, listed in the Mantodea Species File: Brancsikia
