Description
Nebo whitei (White’s Nebo Scorpion) (2-3cm) for Sale
White’s Nebo Scorpion N. whitei lives around the city of Salalah in Oman, Saudi Arabia. As there is generally not much focus on scorpions and because many species are similar, not many studies have been conducted on whether their prevalence extends further into Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, it can be difficult to distinguish the species in the Nebo genus from each other.
Generally, scorpions live quite a long time, compared to other insects and most species do not have trouble staying up to 6 years. But as always, many things come into play and no precise lifetime can be set.
All Nebo species become quite large and our own adult animals have a body length of approx. 8 cm. This is from mouth to tail root. It is also a relatively densely built species, which is still elegant in its movements.
Nebo whitei is a lovely scorpion from the city of Salalah in Oman.
Keep these at temperatures of 22°C to 28°C with a humidity between 50% – 60%.
