Im working out of town at the moment so decided to be sensible and buy a set up first to see if I can maintain the correct conditions before getting my first mantis. I was not expecting the vivarium to arrive already built so this was a big bonus, it was double wrapped in bubble wrap and then shipping peanuts surrounding it along with the couple of vines I ordered. Having it pre built just meant it was so much easier to just start setting it up. Currently set up with a heat mat on the back and keeping an eye on the temp between the thermometer that it came with and a thermostat connected to the heat mat to make sure the temp stays in the right range. As soon as Im happy this is keeping the environment as it should be I will be back to purchase my first mantis, the way its going I can see me buying more enclosures and Ive not really started yet! Great service, I bought a starter kit as a gift from a different site before I found this website, Ive found The Praying Mantis has a much quicker turn around on getting items out to you another reason why Ill be returning.
