Ordered a £25 mystery mantula (Mantis/tarantula) box from Unseen Universe. I messaged before ordering to ask if they could cater for a beginner. I also requested the starter kits on the understanding that I would get fewer creatures. If you order a £25 box just with the creatures you will receive 3 mantids and 2 tarantulas. If you want the starter kits to go with, you will receive 3 creatures. I was given the choice of 2 tarantulas and 1 mantid or 1 tarantula and 2 mantids. Opted for 2 mantids and 1 tarantula. I was not disappointed. My box arrived well packaged and everything clearly labelled. I couldn't be happier with the creatures I received. The two mantids I received were Phyllocrania paradoxa (Ghost mantis) and Creobroter elongata (Indian flower mantis) and the spiderling is a Psalmopoeus irminia (Venezuelan suntiger). I also received a tub of flightless fruitfly to feed them all on. When I reckoned up the cost of each item on the website it came to over £50. I am absolutely thrilled to bits with my purchase.
